CONCEPTUAL ARCHITECTURE DESIGN AND MODEL
As part of the course "Fundamentals of Architecture", this project required an exploration of material, form, space, and order to create a conceptual architectural structure. This model is a conceptual aviary with an emphasis on symmetry along two axes and circulation as an instance of experience.
This course emphasized "process" as a teaching method. I was encouraged to create multiple ground plans and models to develop a final building. Below are some presentation slides documenting the changes that were explored during the course.
I was also tasked with drafting elevations, sections, and site plans of my model by hand. These drawings were an exploration of drawing style and elevation as opposed to technical documentation.
